Privacy policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026. This Privacy Policy explains the data practices of Packlight Journal at flix-bus.autos. The site is an independent informational and educational travel resource. It is a static editorial website, not a travel operator or ticketing service.

The short version: this website has no accounts, no submitted contact form, no payment process, no booking or ticketing function, no analytics service, no advertising pixels, no tracking technology, no cookies set by the site, and no server-side database for visitor data. We do not intentionally collect personal information simply because you read these pages.

Information this static site does not collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account or profile.
  • We do not provide a web form for you to submit personal information.
  • We do not process payments, travel changes, booking information, seat choices, or customer-support requests.
  • We do not run analytics, behavioural advertising, tracking pixels, social-media trackers, or audience measurement cookies.
  • We do not set first-party cookies for preferences, login, analytics, or advertising.
  • We do not maintain a server-side store of visitor identities, travel details, or messages submitted through the website because there is no such submission function.

A standard web host may necessarily handle technical request information such as an IP address in transient infrastructure logs to deliver pages and protect the service. Packlight Journal does not configure those basic delivery logs as a visitor database, use them for profiling, or receive an identified visitor list. Hosting providers may have their own operational retention and legal obligations outside this static site. Consult the host’s own privacy documentation for its infrastructure practices.

Your browser, internet provider, device, operating system, and any third-party network or service you choose to use can have their own data practices. This policy covers Packlight Journal’s static website, not those independent parties.

Email you choose to send

The site lists the editorial address [email protected]. Clicking that link opens your own email application or service; it does not submit a web form to this site. If you choose to email us, your email provider and the receiving mailbox will process the information you include, such as your email address, message, and attachments.

We use voluntary editorial email only to read, respond where appropriate, assess correction requests, and improve the editorial content. We do not sell, rent, or use email messages for targeted advertising. Please do not send sensitive personal information, payment details, travel confirmations, passport numbers, health information, or confidential materials. Email is not a secure method for sensitive communications.

We retain voluntary email only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the correspondence, maintain a correction record where useful, or meet applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a message by writing to the same address, subject to legitimate legal, security, or recordkeeping needs. We cannot control copies retained by your own email provider or in ordinary system backups.

Cookies, analytics, and external content

Packlight Journal does not use analytics, advertising, social-media pixels, behavioural tracking, or cookies set by the site. We do not use an analytics dashboard to identify or follow visitors. Because there are no accounts, there are no login cookies or preference cookies.

The pages may contain ordinary hyperlinks, including links to other Packlight Journal pages, a mailto link, and references readers may use to find official operator, transit, or government information. Following an external link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy policy and data practices. We do not control external websites and do not embed their interactive content in these pages.

Editorial images are displayed from the supplied Pexels source URLs. When your browser requests an image from an external image host, that host may receive standard technical request information from your browser. This is an external resource request, not a Packlight Journal analytics programme. The images are used unchanged and are described in the page data with attribution.

How we protect and share information

Because the site is static and has no visitor account or submission database, there is no Packlight Journal customer profile to share. We do not sell or share visitor information for advertising. If you send an editorial email, access is limited to the handling of that correspondence. We may disclose information if required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or address security or abuse concerns.

No online system can promise absolute security. The most effective privacy choice a reader can make here is simple: read the static pages without sending sensitive information, and use official operator, transit, and government sources only through channels you trust for live travel matters.

Your choices and policy changes

You can use the pages without creating an account or providing information. You can choose not to email us. If you do email, you can request access, correction, or deletion of the personal information in that correspondence by contacting [email protected]. Rights may vary by jurisdiction, and we may need enough information to understand and reasonably verify a request.

We may update this policy if the website’s practices change or clarification is needed. A revised effective date will be posted at the top of this page. A material change from this static, no-analytics approach will be described here before or when it takes effect. For editorial boundaries, read About; for terms of use, read Terms.

What this site actually does

This is a static informational publication. It does not provide accounts, ticket booking, a checkout, payment processing, reservations, a support portal, a newsletter sign-up, analytics, behavioural advertising or a server-side contact form. The editorial email link and contact helper open the reader’s own email application; this site does not receive, transmit to its server or store the draft.

Pages load third-party assets: Tailwind CSS and web fonts from their named providers, and editorial photographs delivered by a media CDN. A request for those resources can disclose ordinary network information (such as IP address, requested asset, browser details, approximate time and referrer as configured by the browser) to the respective provider. Those services set their own policies; the site operator does not control their processing. Clicking an external official-operator link likewise leaves this site and is subject to the external provider’s terms and privacy policy.

The pages contain no site-operated analytics, advertising tags, visitor account or persistent preference storage, and they do not intentionally set cookies. A browser, CDN or third party may still have its own technical logs or cookie behaviour. If the publication’s technical setup changes, this explanation must be revised to match the new implementation.
